Margins and Migrations: Acts of Repair and Resistance brings together eleven South Asian artists whose practices respond to histories of displacement, erasure, and transformation - both external and internal. Working across drawing, textiles, abstraction, photography, sculptures and book-based forms, the artists engage material, rhythm, language, and memory as sites of inquiry. The presentation foregrounds slowness and repetition, allowing mark-making and process to become quiet forms of listening to lived experience. Rather than offering fixed narratives, the works hold space for reflection, healing, and persistence. Here, repair is understood as an ongoing act - rooted in attention, discipline, and sustained inquiry. The “margin” emerges not as absence, but as a fertile ground for resonance, continuity, and renewal.
